Canada Crab Fishing Charters

This morning trip will take you fishing for wild Pacific Salmon or huge Halibut, depending on the season. Everything will be provided but food, drinks, and licenses.

Perfect for those who want to spend a day enjoying the nature and wildlife that Sooke has to offer. Target Salmon, Lingcod, and other species that call these waters home. ALSO YOU GOT YOUR OWN PRIVATE DOCK WITH THIS CHARTER.

It doesn't offer plenty of time to do the most we can, but in the past, we have been able to tub out on Salmon, Rockfish, and Lingcod in 4 hours for 2-3 people. We'll stay inshore and close, so we can do all the fishing we can within that time frame. We can target everything during this time or specific species, depending on what you want.

A quick trip out on the water where you and the crew can fish, crab, and check out local wildlife. Departure times may vary, so make sure to check with Captain Jon for details. The trip price covers all your fishing rods, reels, tackle, and lures.

Enjoy 4 hours spent trolling for Salmon. We will be covering ground slowly while fishing, checking out local sights, islands, and beaches. You will meet the harbour seals at the docks, and often have a good chance to see whales, porpoise, and sea birds while fishing. We will set 2 crab traps on our way out, to retrieve (hopefully full of Dungeness crab!) on our way back to the dock. If you're enjoying your morning we can often upgrade you to a full day! We will be fishing with down-riggers and flashers.

Saltwater Salmon fishing grounds within 30 minutes from Campbell River. Guest will fish two tide changes for the best opportunities for tight lines.

The Summer Chinook Salmon run from August 1 until mid-September and are a hard-scrapping fish of the finest quality, ranging in size from 10 to 40 lbs. In addition to Chinook, there is often plenty of Coho migrating through the Strait of Juan de Fuca during this same time of year, and at times, the action can be nonstop. 'Raven' offers one leisurely trip per day with a no-hurry policy and features something for everyone, even the non-fishers in your group or family. :)

Enjoy the morning fishing legendary Sooke Salmon hotspots from Otter Point, Sooke Bluffs, Secretary Island and many more. Enjoy the short boat ride out the fishing grounds (under 10 minutes) after dropping crab traps and take in the stunning views from the dance floor (fishing deck) or inside our clean, tidy, fully heated cabin. This private charter departs from our exclusive private dock. is equiped with a toilet and makes this half day trip an excellent choice for cooler mornings and family groups.

We will be targeting chinook(king) salmon. We may drop crab traps and prawn traps depending on time of year and what is open. Captain will reach out to you to confirm exact start time that works for you.
